The project of the pedestrian bridge over the Taffa integrated a complex overall concept that includes a garden shed and a seating platform, in addition to the bridge’s function. The delicate, multi-folded truss girders also serve as railings. Structural engineer Konstrukt:ING GmbH and the award-winning architectural firm 4juu architekten were significantly involved in the implementation. The 3D model was created in RSTAB (© Konstrukt:ING GmbH) and represents innovative steel and lightweight structures in an Austrian context. The model impressively illustrates modern construction methods and sophisticated details in bridge construction.
