To transfer a user-defined foundation database from one computer to another, you can export and import the foundation database. To export the database, click the [Save User Template Database] button first. Then, you can select a storage location of the respective XML file and save the database. Click the [Open Saved User Template Database] button to import the previously exported data.
This function is especially useful when User A wants to transfer the "filled" database to User B's computer. Furthermore, you can use this function for manual data backup or for an exchange of the user foundation templates between RFEM and RSTAB, if necessary.
