Question

The calculation in STEEL EC3 according to the General Method or after the warping torsion analysis is unsuccessful. Unfortunately, I cannot graphically control the mode shape. Why?

Answer:

To display the mode shape, the calculation must be performed successfully. If this is not possible, there are either invalid boundary conditions or no stability problem was found (convergence not reached). No critical buckling shape can then be considered.
