Using Axial Force of Surface n for Line Releases with Spring Definition

I have released a line in a surface model. In the Results navigator, there is the description "Releases → Line release → Forces → n". What does "n" mean?

Answer:

This is the axial force of the surface, which is denoted by a lower-case n.

This specification is useful, for example, if a spring has been defined in x for the type of line release. By using n, you can then display the force of the spring that is transferred.
