In this case, the COM interface of Excel is not registered correctly. The reasons for this may be, for example:
- "Registry cleaners" (for example, CCleaner ...) have destroyed the registry.
- The anti-virus software blocks the export.
- Missing user rights
In most cases, it is sufficient to register the Excel COM server again. To do this, run DLInstaller.exe by right-clicking → "Run as Administrator". In the case of a standard installation, this is located in the following folder:
- C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Dlubal\DLInstaller
Then switch to the "Diagnostics" tab and start the process (see Image 02). After that, run RFEM/RSTAB to test the export/import again.
Update:
As of the version 5.29 and 8.29, the DLInstaller.exe has been further optimized. If the DLInstaller.exe does not work with an installed version lower than 5.29 or 8.29, install at least version 5.29 or 8.29 first, and then run the DLInstaller.exe again.
If this workflow is also unsuccessful, it is necessary to reinstall or repair Excel in the control panel.
- Use Quick Repair to fix the Office installation and see if it helps.
- If Quick Repair does not help, repair the Office installation using the "Online Repair."
