1. Who are you?
My name is Martin, I live in Prague and I work as a graphic designer.
2. What studies did you do, and how did you come to Dlubal?
I studied Graphic design in Košice, Slovakia. I came to Prague via an internship, start work here and eventually came to our the Dlubal company.
3. What are your tasks?
Usually I work on social media posts, pictures for the website, and many small tasks for my co-workers, when they need them.
4. What is important in your job?
I would say knowledge of the graphic program, and also I need to learn new stuff, since I did not study structural analysis.
5. What are you looking forward when you come into work in the morning?
Colleagues 😊
6. What do you like about construction?
I like architecture in general. I like that we work with many different projects and styles.
7. What has been the best experience so far?
It's hard to pick from the past 2 years, but definitely some music festival from before. Also, I am planning a trip to Rome at the end of the month, so hope this could be one.
8. What is your hobby? How do you combine it with your job?
Since I do graphic design, my hobby is kinda my job. I like doing posters, illustrations, reading, dancing, listening music and nature. All of it, is good to relax, and then I can go happily in my job.
9. What advice would you give to young civil engineers and graduates for the future?
Please be good for co-workers who don't study structural engineering, because many things you find basic are wonders for us.
10. What is your favourite building?
I like modern architecture from Zaha Hadid, for example, but I like many historical buildings, too. Like St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague is very nice.
