Design of Timber Structures According to DIN 4149:2005

The thesis presents a short overview of earthquakes and the origination of them. The objective is to provide an insight into the design of timber structures according to DIN 4149:2005‑04. An example shows a practical approach of how to design structures with seismic load cases.
