Structure
The original steel structure of the crane bridge in Mannheim Harbor, Germany was built in 1924. Recently, it was to be equipped with a new upper crane.
The lifting capacity of the new upper crane is 6 tons.
Structure and Design
Since no drawings or structural documents remained, the bridge had to be redesigned completely.
The engineering office of Burgdorf, a customer of Dlubal Software, was responsible for the control calculations as well as the structure of the necessary reinforcement.
