One of the Best Software for Dynamic Analysis

It turns out that RFEM is one of the best software for dynamic and nonlinear analysis – much more user-friendly than competing programs; students quickly find their way around and understand what is important. Among the positive experiences, I would like to mention the user-friendly pre-processor, which allows modeling structures almost as conveniently as in CAD, and the very well-designed modeling of 3D elements, including fast calculation.

In my diploma thesis, I simulated the collapse behavior of a concrete section with composite reinforcement in RFEM and RSTAB. Compared to the experiment, the results of the nonlinear calculation differ in the order of units, while the linear calculation differs in the order of tens of percent. The speed of both calculations in Dlubal Software programs is in seconds, unlike competing programs.
