Since we purchased RFEM 6, modeling structures from the simplest to the most complex has become an extremely easy task.
In our field, we get great results with our equipment, which helps us create digital models that are as close to reality as possible. The definition of supports, member elements, surfaces, or even solids is very extensive.
We're using fully parameterizable 3 and 4-foot tower section blocks to cut down on modeling time in anticipation of the tower module.
All in all, we're very satisfied with our choice of this new-generation software.

RFEM 6 offers the following advantages:
1 The program has great flexibility, allowing engineers to set engineering assumptions independently.
2 The program interface is aesthetically pleasing, with a combination of a left-side navigation bar and table editing, enabling quick editing and modification of models, with good program modeling logic.
3 The program can adopt various international standards, suitable for engineering projects both domestically and internationally.
I have been using RFEM 6 for my steel design projects in Italy and abroad for a few years now, and it has become indispensable! Geometric modeling, always fast and precise, is easy and convenient due to the internal (CAD) tools.
Any type of structure, from the simplest (beam elements) to the most complex geometries with shell elements, can be modeled with ease; BIM is excellent with other software. Editing is also easy, and if you make changes or revisions to the design, it takes a moment to implement them. The software includes several design standards, is flexible in use, clear, complete with all types of structural analysis, both static and dynamic, precise and reliable.
In my opinion, it excels in nonlinearities when both entering the data and performing the nonlinear calculation; the mesh quality is excellent. The post-processing is very complex and the results are always clear, reliable, and easy to check and interpret. It always gives me freedom in my design preferences and assists me with all of them. When I compare myself with colleagues who use other software, frankly, it is impossible to do better. It simply does things that other software does not do, and does them in an easy way.
The support provided by the Italian team has always been up to the highest standards and has only improved over the years. Thanks and congratulations!
When I set up my company, I naturally looked for a structural analysis software package that would suit my needs (metal, timber, steel, glazed facades, curtain walls, skylights).
I've decided on RFEM, because it meets all my needs, and I'd like to thank the DLUBAL Team for making it easy to pay, which allowed me to get started. RFEM is a tool that is very easy to use and allows you to generate design reports in a very short time.

After a six-month trial, I've decided to switch to Dlubal RFEM because of its superior ability to model structures and their behavior as close to reality as possible, compared to the other models used: effective eccentricities, linear or nonlinear supports and hinges, various member sections, steel connection configurator with a wide range of options, and so on.
Moreover, the interface is user-friendly and intuitive, so it's easy to understand the functions without having to refer to the documentation.
Result filters allow for a quick interpretation of the calculations, while setting up and editing the calculation notes is quick and easy.
A significant advantage is a wide range of resources on the Dlubal website as well as on Youtube.
Last but not least, the sales and technical service are always ready to answer your questions. The main points of the comparison are excellent. I'm thus convinced of my choice.
Excellent software, very powerful, and intuitive.

The program is very user-friendly for me, and if I have encountered a problem, it always helped me to watch the tutorial video, study the online manual, or finally contact your online support, where they were happy to assist me. I was very pleased that many parameters are predefined, but can be customized. That's the reason why I consider the program to be very flexible.

The interface of RFEM 6 is much more intuitive to me than the interface of RFEM 5. The structure of tables is also well-arranged, so my work with RFEM 6 is more straightforward and clear.
