Applying linear load on cell

In RSTAB, how can I apply a linear load while using the option 'Generate member loads from area loads via cells'?

Goto Tools/Generate Loads/From Area Load via...
Select the settings for directions and distributions as usually.

Then:
In the dialog to convert Area Loads to Member Loads... set in the middle left under Area Load Distribution "Linear".
Then pick three nodes at the right under "Area Load Magnitude" and assign the laods magnitudes for those nodes.

See also the the attached image.


Press OK and the loads will be generated.

Hi,
no - in RSTAB 7 there was only linear distribution in Z-direction but not so general as it is now.
