I tried RF-Stability in RFEM 5.25.02 and something is wrong with it or I'm making a mistake somewhere. I have two examples:
1. Pinned column L = 5 m, SHS140x4, nodal force = 1 kN, buckling length as expected 5 m, critical load 540 kN but critical load factor 376 - why? I compared it to Robot and there the critical factor is as expected 540.
2. Example from the book, SHS140x4, pinned column L = 5 m with a bracing (nodal support) at the height of 3 m, nodal force at the top = 1 kN. According to book example there should be effective length factor of the bottom part K_AB = 0.862, and of the upper part K_BC = 1.294. In Robot it's an exact match but in RF-Stability K_AB = 0.867 (it's ok) and K_BC = 1.516 (why there is so much difference comparing to Robot and book example?). Also critical load in Robot is 2015 kN (and critical load factor is as expected 2015), but in RF-Stability there are two different values of critical force (for bottom part 1996 kN, for the upper part 1470 kN and also the critical load factor doesn't match any of these critical loads cause value is 1259).
