Having Trouble with Member Connections in RSTAB

I'm working on a project in RSTAB and I'm encountering an issue with member connections. I'm trying to connect a beam to a column, but I'm getting an error message that says "The member is not connected to any nodes." Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this connection issue?

If you always want to connect members, you can right-click on the empty background and activate this setting:
