RF-COM-5: Creating Actions, Action Combinations and Combination Expressions

Hello,

While manually creating a Load Case in the software (RFEM 5.26.01), the corresponding Action is automatically created if "To Solve" option is enabled.

However, when I create the Load Cases through RF-COM-5, corresponding Actions are not created. Given that the ActionCategoryType, ToSolve and SelfWeight attributes are properly assigned. I searched through the RF-COM-5 documentation but could not see much reference to Actions, Action Combinations and Combination Expressions, are these somehow excluded from the COM interface?

My target is to create Load Combinations by using Combination Expressions. If I could get the Actions with the COM interface, I could get the Combinations from the software.
Shortly, how can I create Actions through COM interface?

Hello Mr. Burak,

i'm sorry, but the automatic load combinations are not accessible through the COM-Interface. You can only create your own automatic load combination module via COM-Interface.

So I guess, I would have to create the strings which defines Load Combinations with my own routine. Then, the rest goes by as in this technical article.
