API comunication with RFEM

it is possible to create model/ or create elements in existing model using API without RF-COM module? If yes, then what extra features I get with this module?

yes, you can connect to an existing instance of RFEM or you can create a new one.

Hi zatara,

I'm sorry for missing the second part. Not all parts of RFEM could be controlled by the RF-COM Interface. For example, it is not possible to use the wind or snow load generator.
It is hard to list all differences, so I think the best way would be if you describe what you want to do and we can tell you what is possible.

Sorry but I'm not sure if you understood my questions, English is not my first language ,).

My first question was if I can use API and communicate with RFEM in some extent #without# RF-COM module.

Oh sorry. No, you cannot use the API without the COM Interface because this is the central part of the API or do you mean the RF-COM licence?

Exactly, I was thinking about RF-COM licence.

For writing data you need a COM licence. If you only want to read data from RFEM/RSTAB you don't need a licence.
