Steel-fiber reinforced concrete is nowadays mainly used for industrial floors or hall floors, low-stressed foundation plates, basement walls, and basement floors. Since the publication of the first DAfStb guideline "Stahlfaserbeton" in 2010, the structural engineer has been implementing a set of rules and regulations for the design of the composite material steel fiber reinforced concrete, which makes the use of fiber-reinforced concrete increasingly popular in construction practice. This article deals with the individual material parameters of the steel fiber concrete and the implementation of these material parameters in the FEA software RFEM.
