What are the advantages of network or floating licenses, compared to local licenses?

Using network or floating licenses in your company has the following advantages:

  • Lower license costs in general, as fewer licenses are required for add-on modules
  • High flexibility of licenses due to the concurrent-user license model
  • Simple application at various company locations as well as in home office (VPN connection required)
  • Working on an RDP connection on another computer is allowed
  • Better and easier administration
  • All purchased products are generally available to all clients
  • Search for the corresponding local dongle (assuming different license assignments) is omitted
  • Prevents dongle loss and damage since it is protected at the server

Note :
According to the service contract terms, a separate service contract is required for each company location when using our programs via network licenses.
