Question

Some nodes are lying outside the plane. What is the easiest way to shift them to the desired plane?

Answer:
For planes that rest perpendicular to the global coordinate system, this is relatively easy, because the coordinate of all points in the plane must be the same. However, if it is a plane that is located in an arbitrary position in space, you must first create a user-defined coordinate system and then move the node in this coordinate system.

However, the fastest option is the "Project" feature (see the video). This allows nodes that are situated outside of the target plane to be moved into them quickly.
