We write for you. This is the blog about Dlubal Software and beyond. But what exactly are we doing?
We believe that construction is changing and that many new things will be used in the future. There are already numerous innovations that have been created for a more sustainable and digitally oriented time. The attitude that "we have always done it this way" slows us down, and the development of a better world is already a slow process.
That's why we're writing this blog and informing you about the extensive ideas and findings. We would like to deal with important topics and examine them critically. Can the construction industry become more progressive? How do we achieve a change? When will we be as digital as other industries? How can the high demand for buildings be combined with sustainability? Here you get a valuable insight into the world of civil engineering. We will show you the possibilities.
What is this blog about?
There is a podcast at Dlubal Software. Use this link to find all previous Episodes . We would like to deal with and write down the most important topics again here.
But we don't just write about our podcast. This format should also give you an insight into our company. Who works for us? What can you do with us? What is it like to be employed by a software company?
In the past, there have always been disasters for which, sadly, many people have had to pay with their lives. Nevertheless, these accidents have provided important insights for the future. We tell you how to learn from mistakes and how all knowledge in construction was gathered.
The construction industry is the ultimate climate killer. Far more CO2 emissions are released in cement production than in all air traffic. What do we have to consider so that the climate targets can be achieved by 2050? What alternative building materials are there? Can we do without concrete? How do we shape sustainability?
When it comes to digitization, many industries are way ahead of us. Of course, there are other reasons as well, such as automation, which is simply not possible in the construction industry. Nevertheless, with BIM we have the opportunity to turn our digital world upside down. But there are also numerous other trends that will determine the future.
Otherwise, we would like to deal with general topics that are very exciting. What is it like to study civil engineering? What is the construction industry doing? What all is possible?
In any case, there are many exciting articles waiting for you, which should help and inform you in a wide variety of areas.
Who are we
We are Martina and Daniel. We are young civil engineers with a passion for sustainability and digitization. Civil engineering is not just about technology, statics and planning, but much more. For this reason, there is now this blog in addition to our podcast.
