Since its beginnings in 1987, the Dlubal company has been involved in the development of user-friendly and powerful programs for structural and dynamic analysis. In 1990, Dlubal moved into its current location in Eastern Bavaria, Germany, and established a second office in Prague, Czech Republic. In 2010 Dlubal opened its third office in Leipzig, Germany.

When looking at our programs you can feel the enthusiasm of everybody involved in the development and you will notice the underlying philosophy of all our applications, which can be summoned up in the word "user-friendly". These two points combined with our professional competence build the base for the ever growing success of our products. The software is designed in such a way that users with basic computer skills can handle the software successfully after only a short while.

With considerable pride we now count more than 7000 engineering offices and construction companies from a variety of fields as well as many post-secondary schools to our list of satisfied customers around the world.

To remain true to company objectives and changes in the international engineering market, there are more than 180 internal and external employees working continuously on improvements and developments of Dlubal applications.

The perfect ratio between price and value, together with the service we offer, make Dlubal programs an essential tool for anyone involved in the areas of statics, dynamics and design.

User-friendliness and practicability are clear priorities for conception and development of our programs. Therefore, the dialog with our customers is of utmost importance. Constructive critique, suggestions and requests take an important part in the conception of our programs. For us the work on our programs is not finished just because a program is launched. In the effort to always optimize our products, we permanently work on improvements and extensions to help and support the user.

With Dlubal software, you can work either with manual input tables or, alternatively, with graphic input. Both options offer their own advantages, which is the reason why the program allows for switching between both input types. Of course, changes to the parameter values will always be immediately imported in each module. Also, you can arrange your result output according to your needs.

For Finite Elements, Dlubal has for more than 10 years closely cooperated with the company FEM Consulting Brno. Their team, under the guidance of Prof. Kolar and later Dr. Nemec, is since 1967 one of the research leaders in the area of Finite Elements Method. Their experience has significantly contributed to combine probably the most user-friendly FE-program with a stable and reliable calculation base.
